Arrived today from Andrew at trusty. ZF JLC Master ultrathin Moon

Fabulous watch with genuine moonphase. Beautifully reworked Miyota 9015, by ZF, who seem to be doing amazing work.

I have owned many Gen JLC and still have two. I know them well and I can say that if I didn't know this was a Rep, without a detailed look at the movement ( one I happen to know well) I would not suspect it.

The markers are better placed than most gens, the case is perfect. The thickness is correct. they have even made the dial with that subtle sunburst. The double folding deployant deserves a mention of its own. It is perfection in every way.

This is truly a great watch to own.

The strap is the usual crap and ironically though I have three very nice Gen JLC straps in my strap box, two are 20mm , one is 19mm. This watch is 21mm. So I will be in search of a new strap for it.

The Rep world is moving forwards rapidly. Very exciting times!

Yes . Proper moonphase same as gen.

@Timnic54 I always love hearing your view on things particularly as I know that you are an owner of many high end pieces & therefore are in a good place to judge the validity & quality standards of reps against their gen counterparts.

Seeing such enthusiasm as illustrated above is great to see in & amongst much of the negativity that manifests itself across much of the rep & gen fora.

As with all non bi directional winding the rotor is audible, as with a 7750, this can be helped with good lubrication. This one doesn't seen as loud as some. But I am a retired touring musician, with many years of working in front of thousands of watts, so my hearing for small sounds is not great. I am therefore not the best to judge this. I honestly believe that it is not too noisy.
