i was long postponing to bust a case, or age it as you say. I always have in my mind to do a 6152 build.
Anyways i do a 3646. This is affordable and used only cheapest ebay parts i could sourse.
Started with 45mm radiomir type case and manual A6497 movement.
Had a handmade diallying around and bunch of hands that i stripped to steel.
I should say that i did not go the whole mile with soldering, but i stay away from such things.
( crown tube and lugs should be soldered)
so lets go :
taped the glasses to protecet them from the abuse

then after some filing, sandpaper and abuse :
Then for the spa.
I used salt and vinegar at first , then polished with capecod, leaving most brutal signs.
Than i put it 1 night in a bath of Hydrogen Peroxide + again some solt.
Then voila
(i should say that it easy to wash or remove the rust, so better keep it safe)
Decided to do leather nato strap with aged roller, but i was in hurry and made it little tooo short..
Almost there :
and a lum shot ofcourse
i feel good i made it, but also sad that im lack of more skills like some members here, that do wonders with aging
