Hey, Gang!

It's PAMSDAY (or NIGHT) again, as Thursdays are devoted to wearing one of my Panerais, hence the name PAMSDAY. Tonight's wear is this PAM (whose model number I do not know)* I was going to put up for sale last week on two of the rep watch sites I belong to;, but for some reason changed my mind -- for now. Full dial, automatic w/ decorated rotor, smooth sweep. dave:

*I don't know the PAM model number because Panerai has so many it's confusing to me.

NEWEST ADDITION TO THE COLLECTION FROM THE 'GATE:

Hi, Gang!

This is just a quick review, as I'm falling asleep as I type this This is my newest addition to my collection from The 'Gate -- this ROLEX Submariner 116613, TT, with bronze dial and bezel. Cost me ca. $68, which isn't bad. Although not TOP SHELF, it IS pretty decent & vis-à-vis the dial, bracelet, and clasp, seems to have a great fit-and-finish. The links on the bracelet are solid, not hollow; the gold plating is complete around the end links. The clasp closes solidly and smartly so you don't have to worry about it suddenly becoming undone. I was impressed with those; dial details are all right, with the bezel looking very smart.. Movement is your standard work horse A 2813,winds rather smoothly & offers a fairly smooth sweep. The date wheel seems a little loose when setting with the crown but does stay in place once set. It's specs seem to be standard: 41mm wide (44mm with crown), 15mm thick, and weighs in at 143 grams. Not too shabby. Thanks for reading (I'm falling asleep), so here are some pics to offer you titillation: dave:

THANKS, P., for the feedback on the new Rolex. RWI and HOBO mate, Rush, was gracious enough to point out the error I made on the identifyin model number -- just as YOU did. I very much appreciate your feedback; it's helpful AND educational for me, P.!
