Tudor S&G.... Superrep?

Found a gen S&G for a steal so I had to buy it. After getting the gen here, was amazed at how close the rep I had was. Thanks to @Naylor07 for letting me borrow his S&G rep.

First a few cell phone pics of the 2 together. I will get my camera out tonight and do up a full review. See if you can guess the gen. I will post up the full review and comparison pics in 24hrs. I will say my wife was able to guess it after looking them over for a few minutes. On the wrist, no one will be able to call you out though, especially with no gen to compare with.

The gen and rep are in the same position and same order every time. Watch 1 is on the left and 1st pic, Watch 2 is on the right and 2nd pic

I lost track of the gen/rep. etched/stamped crown, tube color/spacing, and gold shimmer/color = gen! Left one in the first side by side picture. either way both look amazing!

absolutely. especially when the only guesses so far are incorrect.

Forgot to bring my memory card with me to work, so I will get pictures and the review done tomorrow.

Right is gen, Left is rep. The biggest tells are the pearl when zoomed in and looking at it in the right light/angle, and the hand stack. I will highlight both in my macro shots.

alright some better closeup shots of the tells. these are noticeable if you look close enough. On the wrist, no one will notice.


1. Hands. The rep hands are stacked so that the hour and minute hand are closer together than the minute and second hand. on the gen, these are evenly spaced.

2. The datewheel of the rep is more sunken than the gen. noticeable if you look at it from an angle.

3. The Pearl. The rep is more of a conical shape, and is less glossy than the gen.

Yeah it is but you are right the rep is very good on the wrist. Bought the gen because of it.

I think you hit all the tells the only really obvious thing in the hand is the typical rep bezel movement. The gen has a very distinctive click sound. You also have to use more pressure to rotate the bezel at 12 which is a very nice touch.

That all said if anyone has the rep, enjoy it’s an excellent one
