HI, Gang! Welcome to the start of a new week. Hope it's enjoyable for you all!

For today, my all time fav. Rolex (rep). If it were gen, I'd wear it all the time; but as a lot of mates know (the story), wifey wanted to purchase the gen while we were in St. Thomas during a cruise. As many no doubt know, I pulled her aside and whispered the approximate selling price to her; when she asked the salesman the price, he said "$12.000"; her face went pale and I was certain she was going to topple over. Of course, I told him "No, thank you." and walked out. She had NO IDEA of the Submariner's cost. I told her it's the line I won't cross, price wise. The snappy rep from Stan @ wbk will suffice. heh! Today's ride is this nicely finished STEEL DIVER Sub, with a nice Seiko-inspired NH 35A automatic movement & possesses an outstanding lume glow on not just the dial but also the bezel. Finishing on the bracelet is also outstanding. Quite a bargain for the price. dave;

Well, it's HUMPDAY today, so you all know what that means. HumPDAY'S RIDE is this TAG HEUER AQUARACER 300M automatic wifey purchased for me during one of our cruises to the Caribbean a few years ago. This MIGHT HAVE BEEN after the Rolex Sub Fiasco at the ROLEX dealership I mentioned in an earlier post. This is one of the few watches she actually liked, thinking it was beautiful -- which I agree with. Flawless auto

Group!movement, lume glows like the proverbial torch when stimulated by ANY amount of light. The strap came with it. Personally, I prefer the s/s bracelet. dave;

Hiya, Group! Well, it's PAMDAY today, so let's celebrate.

Today, this lightly worn PAM OP6819, or something like that. (PANERAI model numbers have always confused me.) Watch is large and heavy but is light on the old guy's wrist. LUME on this monster is a few lumes short of a torch. Winds easily, runs smoothly and accurately. dave;
