Hi, Gang!
To start off the week, this recently arrived ROLEX DJII from a seller on The Gate. Watch I ordered was supposed to arrive with a JUBILEE bracelet; came mounted on a s/s OYSTER instead. Wasn't too happy about that; other problems with the watch: a very sticky crown and stem and a date window and cyclops too small. Regardless of these annoyances, I kept the watch, which has a strong movement with a forty hour power reserve. Not too shabby. I always wanted a clean looking blue dialed DJII but past two attempt to secure one just didn't pan out. dave:

Happy Humpday, all!
For today, a strange horological oxymoron: a REPLICA SEIKO 5 SPORTSMATIC!! I never thought I'd see the day of a rep Seiko, but here it is: introduced by a mate quite a while ago, I just had to go to the website (which I forgot) to get one. To my eyes, it certainly LOOKS gen, even down to the rotor and movement seen through the exhibition case back. It's actually a fun, comfortable piece to have! dave:
