It’ll never go bad unopened. What will happen is angel share (evaporation) slowly over time. Will result in a weaker proof but more flavorful. This is like 100 years I’m talking. If yoj mean for a couple months or years, it will taste the same regardless of when you open it. All the flavor maturation was done in the cask. Once bottled there’s no active yeast or anything or agent to affect taste.it gets no better or worse.

Indeed... all the work was done before it was bottled. It remains a 16 year scotch regardless of when you ultimately open it. If you like full bodied, smoky, peaty single malts, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Understatement. That’s a spectacular bottle of Islay. The reason not to Open is because it will likely appreciate in price.

Hi, Gang! This is a belated PAMSDAY wristie; I was simply too tired to post last night, so "better late than never." PAM "OP6506" (from caseback.) To me, a very beautiful watch. dave:

It's the official start of the weekend, Gang, so let's get to it! For Friday, the usual "two-fer:" main watch, OMEGA Planet Ocean from SILIX.PRIME, when JEE was still there: $30 special, which runs like the proverbial top; for the gym, this OMEGA Sea Master chronograph picked up from a mate literally years ago; quartz powered, performs flawlessly. dave:
