Hi, Gang! Welcome to a new week -- and another step closer to the end of summer! Bummer!
On the wrist today is this good-looking SEIKO chronograph w/ gray dial, gold accents, and two tone jubilee bracelet, with two-sided "gold" jubilee links -- something I don't see too often in non-Rolex jubilees. Acquired it from a seller on The Bay a few weeks ago, tried it on, adjusted the micro-spacers in the clasp--then promptly forgot I had it!! Geeze!! Anyhoots, it's a nice looking piece, wears well, has all the chrono operations functioning very well. Looks good on the wrist. dave:

Thanks, F.! It IS a good looking piece.

Regarding its age, I'm not certain, as the seller described it as "vintage." I plan on doing a little research to see if I can determine its age.

Hi, Gang!
For Tuesday's review, this ROLEX GMT-MASTER.II (Pepsi) I picked up, e Gad, from someone, somewhere, sometime ago. All I know is that it's nicely made, has a decent face, is heavy (171 grams) & has a nicely finished bracelet and flip clasp. Definitely a keeper! dave:

Hi, Gang! Welcome to HUMPDAY!!
Today's wear is a special one: a watch from The Gate, a BREITLING SEAWOLF Avenger II automatic. It's a nice, heavy watch and have to decide to either keep it or return it. The watch case IS massive, taping in a 49mm x 16mm; tipping the scales at 210 grams; the numbers and marks on the dial have a soft glow to them once stimulated by light. The case and bracelet seem to be well made, with no sharpness anywhere. The ONLY concern I have is with some of the markers on the dial at 6 and 9: they appear to be a little too big for this style of watch; the triangle @ 12 also is a little bigger. But I'm not too worried about this as I operate under the "99.99% Rule:" 99.99 percent of the general public will have no clue about Breitling watch markers; it's the other .01% who will; since I don't deny to people I'm wearing a copy, I could care less. What do you think? dave:

Hi, gang!
Welcome to PAMSDAY!! For this day, a troublesome favorite: this PAM111 with a poor power reserve on rubber. It's a very clean looking piece with a sandwich dial & such, but it's a manual wind, which powers it through most of the day until early evening, when I have to take it off the 'ole wrist & rewind it so it lasts through the rest of the evening; it's a nice-looking PITA. Them's the breaks. dave: (old pics):
