I've got multiple passions, as I'm sure many of you do. One of them is cycling. So whatcha riding?

This just showed up. I have a Felt Z5 carbon road bike and my mountain bike was a Santa Cruz Nickel that now I need to sell with my new upgrade.

Oh that is pretty! Now are you going to get it all muddy and stuff?

Very cool. I've never had a good mountain bike.
Loading it into my truck now. As soon as I drop the kids at school I'm going for a ride. Intense offers a hell of a bike for the price. Really cant be beat in the current market with its direct to consumer model.

I used to do 160 miles a week on my road bike when I lived in salt lake. But boise isn't as conducive of safe riding and I have no desire to be ran over by a car. ..so have swapped to mountain biking for the time being.

This is my last mountain bike that I built. Need to get it sold nown
That is nice too. I was going to get a mountain bike but got the cyclocross as I ride on a lot of rails to trails and that is pea gravel or cinders. Longer distance so the cross bike rolls a bit better. 40 miles is a relatively long way on a mountain bike. I mostly ride the TT on the road. I'm out in the country so I can avoid a lot of the traffic.

That's great. I like the Cervrelo. Have never ridden with TT bars before. I miss the road bike path they had in slc. They have a green belt here but it needs repaved and its frowned on to go over 15mph...

Ride this morning. Its flat where I live, but the wind can be worse than hills. There is also a lot of nothing. Miles and miles of nothing. But it can be pretty too. This morning I saw 4 deer, a herd of bunny rabbits, snapping turtles, a red fox, and a plethora of squirrels.

A couple pics from yesterday's ride. Almost a 10 mile loop. 1000 feet up 1000 feet back down with some gnarly switch backs and optional jumps. My boy took it like a camp with only one crash. The kid is a damn billy goat when it comes to climbing. Downhills gonna take some more practice.

@Thrasher that bike is older than 20 years. They haven't made Univegas in a long, long time. I have a Univega road bike that I bought in 1983 to ride crits. Still have it but put city bars on it just to ride around the beach. Don't like to use my good bike too often in a sandy environment.

Japan was the origin. China was still closed when Univega went bust.

I know the headquarters were in LB but I don't think any of the bikes were US made. I don't know much about mountain bikes but I believe it was Japan, then Taiwan for manufacture. But they were great bikes back when steel was real.
