Hey Guys,

Since the new pepsi dropped at basel 2018 the GMT has been haunting my dreams... I have a few questions for the builders in the house to see if it's possible or if it's a waste of time.

1. Best available case for a 5 digit GMT... Will a GEN 3186 or SH3186 fit in a ST3135 case?

CONS: (Not really show stoppers for me, since I'm thinking about mixing and matching 16710 and 116710 parts)

1. Beefy sub 7030 / 704 tube crown -- Other options here?
2. A little thicker than gen? I think the 16610 and 16710 used the same midcase, so is that a matter of caseback? Will that work on a ST3135?

I've asked a few guys and I forsee a major issue... Tracking down a few key parts:

-- 116710BLNR or BLRO dial with white GMT writing.
-- 116739BLRO RED GMT hand

OR, I'll get a gen 3135 and complete my sub... :sneaky::ROFLMAO:

It sounds like you're looking to spend a lot of money on a watch that's will be very off.

The case back is different on 16710 and 16610, The midcase is also different.

GMT Is 6mm crown, 7mm for sub.

Big noticble gap, if you can even find a tube to fit in a 7mm case with a 6mm crown.

Yeah - I asked around and this project is too large($$$)... The DIAL alone is $1300+! Might build a six digit GMT with a NOOB base one day, but not really interested in that size just yet... Maybe an explorer with gmt bezel could fit the bill (an "oreo"?)
