So after just getting a plated TT rep which I know has very thin "gold", I decided to skin some key links on the bracelet and clasp that usually get scratched up pretty easily. You can't really polish plated reps and I hate scratches so we'll see how this holds up. I used cell phone skins and cut out the pieces myself. There are kits you can buy to do this now, one brand name is Phantom which has pre-cut pieces to do the whole bracelet and case sides. It's unobtrusive and can really only be seen in certain light at certain angles.

It's very easy to apply, spray the bracelet and your fingers with soapy water mix, peel the backing and slide it on. You can nudge it around into position with plastic tweezers.

Looks good. Creative protection method. Usually cant handle diamond dials but perhaps that color offsets it. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Really sharp looking either way.
