Hi guys,
I ordered a BP 16710 from Sead and I plan to mod it within my skills and where necessary.
As I'm sure I want an extra/better crystal for it, is there anyone who owns a 16710 with BP case and changed crystals? If so, what crystal would be best?
I found these
https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/cyclops-glass-mineral-with-date-lens?code=C8511

and also found some from the watchman, the Bay number 112822415932

or from WSO, Bay number 172106912441

While the watch is on the way I would like to order some in advance.

I am ordering a gen Coke insert also.

Subsequently, any views or advise on what to mod or change first?
The BP 16710 basically is this one here
https://www.intime02.co/rollie/3662-gmt-master-16710-ss-bp-best-black-red-bezel-white-markers.html

Thanks for reading and any advise is welcome!

Hi R! Are you aware the gen insert will be too big for the BP 16710? You will need to sand the edges.

The watch you linked is more like BP’s 1675 not 16710...

Edit: I just reread your post and see you ordered from Sead ( mine is from him as well)

Hi G. :)
Thanks, no, I didn't know yet. Do you know if a Clark's bezel will fit both watch and insert maybe?

Thanks for your reply and also, nice pic!
Good eye regarding the link, I think it's strange, the link says 16710 but as I look at it now the dial is 1675.
Did you keep it stock?
