Picked up a ARF 126600 just before the new year. Has been running excellent for a few months. Lately has been erratic so decide to swap in a eta 2824 I had. Here is some pics along the way.

The hands have extended posts so a taller pinion kit is not needed. They also custom made a dial spacer. Note the stock spacer to the right. Great job on this from the factories.

ARF DWO next to gen 3135 the font is close a bit thicker. I think some of the newer versions coming out have improved even more than this one. I had intentions of trying to use the gen as an overlay cause there is space but just didn’t have the time to see if it would work.

I'd be real interested to know if you were able to fit the gen DW onto the ETA. I've tried a few times before on my builds without success because of the thickness

I don’t think thickness would be a problem on this model. With the dial spacer they use it should work. I’ll give it a shot when I get some free time and let you know how it works out.

This is an interesting project. So you swapped an ETA 2824 and installed a gen 3135 dw or did not get to install it? Also, is this a V2 or V1?
