Okay, so about 10 months ago I bought my first rep before I found any forums related to reps at all. This was from a site called Perfect Watches before it was shut down.

I liked the look of the Bamford and figured it would be less likely to be called out. I was thrilled to wear it and felt like a badass. Oh how times can change. It cost me 198 USD.

I present some pictures of my very first rep!

Wow that is a fat watch !

I bought my first rep before the digital photography revolution, so no photos, but is was a total POS, lasted a few months and turned my wrist green.

The chronic pushers adjust the 3 and 9 subdials, seconds @6 (tied to the nonstop chrono). What movement would it be inside?

I think I will dissect this as my first venture into the heart of a watch.

My first rep was a 16613 that I bought in the 1990's. It was a daily watch. I eventually wore it out and replaced it with another 16613, which I also wore out, even lost the bezel. The watch still runs great.

First rep experience - bought a $40 Rolex in NYC literally on a street corner during a weekend trip back in 2002 with the boys. Bezel fell off a week later and stopped running shortly after that.

First QUALITY rep experience - Noob Pam 372 from Ryan at Intime back in 2016. That was the “oh wow” moment for me in the rep world. Happy that I took the time to research and listen to the Ute here that have been around a while otherwise
I wouldn’t have been to pleased with it. Sadly it’s moved on but I’m sure it’s loved

I bought my first rep in 1988 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico at the start of a three month journey through Central America . It was a horrible $20.00 two tone day date quartz, but I thought it was "the shit!", it took me a while to notice it was an oyster "pepetual".
I ended up trading it to a Rasta man named Christo in Antiqua, Guatemala for an ounce of super stinky pot - got the better end of that deal!

I picked up a Quartz Tag two tone at a photo shoot down in Houston. I wore the he'll out of it. Then one day it was gone... Years later I was at dinner at my live in girlfriends house, and I at look at her Dads wrist and he was wearing it! Apparently I left it at their house one night and she left it in her drawer when she moved in with me.

Her Dad was well to do and he had no clue. He even took it to his jeweler to clean it and change the battery!
