Gen or rep, doesn't matter. For me it's gotta be the 1016 Space Dweller, 1675/16700 GMT Master, 140.222 Speedmaster 1991 Model (Birth year)

Here are the ones that I have/had.

1675 GMT Master. This is what an ideal 1675 should look like to me. Not too overworked. It is a Yodog build that I picked this one up from Scott (atgm) some time ago. I have sold it since. I've moved on from the 1675 and I am in search of the more slicker, transitional model, the 16700.

1016 Space Dweller. I was lucky enough to pick this one up from NCRich, who had a spare one that he's willing to sell me. Acquiring a genuine version is out of the question since it is virtually impossible to get my hands on it even if I have that kind of money to spend on. The only grail that I will never sell.

3510.50 Speedmaster Reduced 1991 model. Speedy Jr (LOL). Not quite the Moonwatch but it is still my birth year Speedy and has a great patina and all. Still looking for the 140.222 Moonwatch that came out that year and boy, those things are hard to come by.

Nooooooo! That was such a nice one, it was one of my ideal ones too. Luckily I have an @NCRich build still... :p

My two major grails right now are a bluesy (16613) and a fat lady (16760). The moonwatch goes on and off my grail list... it should probably stay on there since there aren't any good reps!

One grail I finished with the 16623 YM Blue Dial. My others are pretty serious grails but my realistic ones are (gen):
Sky Sweller TT
BPFF Blue Dial lunar
Parmigiani Hemisphere
ALS 1815 G
Patek Calatrava
VC Overseas

My grails I really want I know I’ll never be able to afford with these pesky kids and their college funds and cars and such :)

The great thing about grails is that we probably will never own them and that's a good thing, Life is but a journey, there really are no destinations and closed roads lead to stagnation and misery. Make your grails as unrealistic as they need to be, for they are the stuff of dreams.

If I’m going all out grail;
Blancpain Wave
Blancpain Carrousel and Tourbillon
Blancpain X Fathoms
ALS triple split
ALS tourbillon anything
A Lange 1
Breguet Tourbillon from the 1800s :)
The amazing but overly complicated and ornate watches coming out now from Bovet, Gruebel, and Girard P with deviations from round and whole globes etc
MBF
Winston Opus anything
Patek grand complication
VC Astro
U.N. Astro
UN Genghis Kahn
So many more. It’s like porn for me :)

Wise words. I'm saving this for future reference.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes, these are grail enough for me.

For me it's pretty simple:

- 6263 PN dial
- 6265 big red
- 6541 milgauss
- 1675 pcg with a nicely faded insert
- 1655 explorer
- 1680 red meters first
- 16610lv

basically only "cheap" tool watches, right?
